Apoc Day - January 2015

Hi All,

I have been meaning to post this up for some time now.  Back in January the code40k members got together and had a big apoc game based on the Pandorax book.  Redmist and Trevdog did a fantastic job of getting us organised.

It also gave me a chance to use the 9 tiles I now have for my realm of battle board.  Well 8 realm tiles and 1 forgeworld mechanicus tile.

Essentially the rest of the post will now commence with a picture dump which showcases the game and many super heavy vehicles!  This was great fun and hopefully this can help inspire you to get Apoc..ing you wont regret it.

What do you reckon inspiring?

As always let me know your thoughts on the scale of this game and the super heavies involved.

Cheers

Blood for the Blood God!!!!

Hi Everyone,

Red Mist here, as you know I've been quiet for a while now, but that doesn't mean I've not been busy.

Once again, in two weeks, the code40k guys are traveling down to Reading for SVAXIII and we all love a bit of SVA.

What to take this year?
Well after a short think I fell back on my first true love.... Khorne Chaos Marines.

So with a bit of TLC and some new bases and banners behold 'Harkan The Slaughterer' with his loyal, or is that underhand, champions.

As my fellow geeks on the code know, I love terminators, so what better than two squads.

The Brotherhood of Khorne...

and the Brotherhood of Iron...

Backing them up and providing some firepower a Veteran  Iron Warriors squad...

I love the Chaos Boon Table, pity then that nobody that I play ever excepts a challenge, you know who you are...

So I need  a Daemon Prince and a Spawn, just in case Chaos blesses me, one way or another.

A couple of years ago fellow blogger and scratch builder genius Hypaspist built two, yes two, warhound titans for an apoc game. Once the  smoke had cleared one passed into the loving care of Brother toonboy78.

The other a smashed, ruin scattered across the battlefield fell into the hand of my dark warpsmiths. Now two years on arise INDATOR MORTIS 'The Death Bringer' Titan of Khorne.

Look out SVA death is coming... and his name is Khorne!!!!

SVAXII in Pictures and few words

Hi All

DOC here, ok so the dust has barely settled on SVAXII and what a great weekend was had by all!  So normally what happens on the CODE40k blog is we all go crazy to get everything finished for SVA and all the vast majority of posting happens from Jan to March each year.  This year will be different....

Im not going to talk about lists or stats....  what i would like to talk about is the motivation it gives you seeing all the different painted armies.  HYPA has taken a shed load of photos which will be posted up in due course.  Some teesers from my mobile:

I would also encourage everyone to look at Ben's (Campaign weekend organisers Blog) where he has posted some great photos and talked through some of the highlights from the weekend.  He was a top guy and put in some serious effort so we could all have a shed load of fun.
