Dreadtober week 1 progress

 Hi All,

I've had a good first week at Dreadtober and have finished the Reaver Titan:

Many pictures are on my instagram here:

I am really pleased how its turned out with the pre shade working very well on the armour and managing to pull off the stripes with a chipping effect as well.  The base suits and I must admit I like the versatile terrain names it really suits AT models.

I have also progressed my second project the Leviathan Dreadnought its current status is:

You might wander why a space wolf dreadnought is rusty brown well this is the base coat which has been varnish sealed as this will be what you see when the top coats are chipped back to reveal damage and rusting.  Again solid start and looking forward to getting more done.

Keep going folks we need something positive to focus on in these crazy times.

Cheers

Heresy Era Imperial Fists; Leviathan Dreadnought

Hi All

Bluddtoof here with a long overdue post to showcase my Heresy Imperial Fists Leviathan Dreadnought....

My long term goal is to have a mixed force available for both 30k and 40k, with some models unique to one or the other but most able to field in either.
The Leviathan is equipped  to fit in either, with Heavy Flamers.
I fielded this against Docs Deathguard and the guns are devastating against infantry!

A few more shots...

I tried a new way (for me) of doing OSL which I saw online, it comprises a white base and then alternating blue glaze and white dry brush, many times! I basically kept on adding alternating layers until I got bored! Thankfully I was happy with the result. It needs more practice I feel but I'm pleased with the intensity of the glow.

Hope you like, C & C welcome as always.

Showcase - Pre Heresy Dark Angels Leviathan Dreadnought

Hi All,

Heres my first post on my own without the watchful eye of doc, showcased here is my newly finished 30k pre heresy Dark Angels Leviathan Dreadnought with storm cannon and grav flux bombard, to start I thought I would pose him a bit differently by mounting his foot on a 30k marine, I airbrushed the body in a mix of black and grey, painted all the ancillary colours (silver and red) then highlighted the model. And added a few washes , the grav flux I have used a bit of OSL in a jade green did not want it to bright, I weathered the model with a mix of weathering powders and sponge not tried that before result came out OK as for the base I carried on my theme of Mars using forge world runs weathering powders , I painted the mk3 marine world eater Colours . Hope you all like not done this before a lot more things to learn.
Here are a few pics:

I have a lot more to showcase on here but as with me all this new stuff takes me a little time to figure out what I'm doing. C and C are very welcome to point me in the right direction.

That's all for the moment

Innermech signing off.....
