Hobby Season 2016/17 Recap and Future Endeavours Hobby Season 2017/18

Afternoon All,

Welcome to my round up of last years completions and on to setting targets for the year ahead.  Firstly to say in October last year our lives changed after we successfully adopted two children so this years progress is a little slow but all the posts can be found here.

I managed to complete 6 projects from my list for last years season including:

Taurox
2 Chimeras
Command Squad
Medusa
Tactical Legionnaire Squad

For this years list i intend to be more realistic and set myself some sensible goals!

So here goes this years list is:

6 Scimitar Jetbikes
20 Assault Marines
10 Deathshrouds
Spartan
Valkyrie Gunship
Vendetta
Avenger Strike Fighter
3 Leman Russ Tanksand
and hopefully another knight!

Wish me luck whats your plans folks?

Cheers

Doc out

  3. Not a bad years effort by any means. Next year I'll be continuing to reduce the hobby to-do pile. I still have TONS to do....

    1. Thanks Nick, I went for an earthy feel dark red, red, brown, oranges and yellows. i think that spectrum ensures synergy

    2. I certainly does, I'm just embarking on some khorne daemons myself so I'm feeling the love for red at the minute, I think Mephiston Red is probably my favourite of the GW paints, works really well as a glaze over Khorne Red too.

  5. Great effort but more importantly congratulations on your 'real world' success. Its definitely worth remembering how important these things are in comparison to toy soldiers so much respect :)
